RAW opens up with a memorial graphic of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. The entire WWE locker room plus Vince McMahon, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are out on the stage for the always touching ten-bell salute. Piper’s music hits and the WWE plays a tribute video.

They cut to the ring after the RAW intro and out comes WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. He takes the mic and says only one person in WWE can slow him down and that person is him. Rollins then gloats about breaking John Cena’s nose. He says he knows Cena is at home but he has a proposition for Cena, that they have have a match at SummerSlam for both the U.S. and World Heavyweight Championships. Rollins goes on to announce a WWE World Heavyweight Title Open Challenge for tonight’s RAW and it will be our first match of the night.

Rollins rolls out of the way this time and hits a Pedigree for the win.

– The Miz is in the ring for MizTV. He says this is the second most must see show of all-time as Piper’s Pit is #1. Miz names off almost all of the wrestling talk show segments over the years and says none of them would have happened if it weren’t for Piper’s Pit. Miz says he wants Ryback to vacate the Intercontinental Title since he’s unable to defend it due to his nasty staph infection. Miz thinks he should be given the title. Miz then introduces Kevin Owens.

Miz asks why Cesaro has an issue with Owens. Owens says it’s because Cesaro is jealous of him. Owens starts talking about what he’s accomplished but Cesaro interrupts.

Miz says Cesaro is supposed to wait til he’s introduced but he welcomes him anyway. Miz asks if Cesaro came to fight. Cesaro says he just wanted to hear what “Walk Owens Walk” has to say. Owens says Cesaro is jealous of him again because he’s always succeeded where Cesaro has failed. Cesaro calls Owens an embarrassment. Owens stands up and tosses his chair(it did get stuck to his ass which was hilarious). Cesaro laughs at him for the chair getting stuck. The three stand tall as RAW goes off the air.

Sean Feral
Sean is pretty much “the bad guy”(metaphorically not negatively)…Sean was dubbed a “natural heel” by a handful of pro wrestlers about 8 years ago and Sean has embraced that role ever since. While covering the sports entertainment industry, Sean has met and interviewed many in the business and still loves the business now as much as he did as a kid. While most kids were cheering for the XMen, Sean rooted for guys like Apocalypse and Magneto. When everyone rooted for Hulk Hogan, Sean was rooting for the Iron Sheik. When you ask him “Why do you like the villain so much?” Sean always gives this answer, “The villain always tells a better story. Without their substance, there is little need for heroes.” Other than his love for villains, Sean is an overall sports dork and watches literally everything from WWE to Olympic curling to the NFL. Sean also loves humor, especially when it’s dark, well thought out, and witty.
