RAW kicks off with Rollins cutting a promo about his matches with Sting and Cena at Night of Champions and after and few minutes Sting appears on the Tron and mocks Rollins. The champion isn’t thrilled and then out comes Sheamus. Rollins tells Sheamus he looks stupid and Sheamus threatens him with his ability to cash in his briefcase anytime he wants.
Rollins is in the back looking for Triple H to see if he has an idea. Triple H says Rollins is the man and has to warm up for Night of Champions and books him against Ryback and in a tag match against with New Day against Cena and the Primetime Players.
Paige vs Sasha Banks
The two Divas have a very solid match with lots of back and forth action. Paige went for the PTO but Naomi rolled into the ring to cause a distraction. Naomi rolls back out of the ring allowing Sasha to get the win with a roll up pin of the anti-Diva.

Ambrose and Reigns vs the Ascension
Ambrose and Reigns FINALLY entered together!!! Bout time WWE fixed that. The match is exactly what it sounds like it will be. Total squash match.
After the match we see the Wyatts on the Tron. They issue a warning to Ambrose and Reigns for Night of Champions.
Ryback cuts a promo with Renee and Owens interrupts to wish him luck against Rollins. Ryback doesn’t believe it and we get a package for the horrible Rusev-Ziggler storyline.
Ryback vs Seth Rollins
A few slow paced back and forth match. Eventually Ryback does his typical meat head strong guy moves and works over Rollins. The WWE champion gains control outside the ring sending the big man into the post and steps. Back from a commercial and the action is back inside. Rollins works over Ryback until he makes another comeback. The two trade counters until Ryback lands a powerbomb for two. Ryback goes up top but Rollins cuts him off, Ryback counters and goes for the splash but misses and both men are down. Rollins sends Ryback outside then hits a suicide dive. Ryback gets up and Rollins hits him with another suicide dive. Rollins is caught with a spinebuster and Ryback goes for the Meathook clothesline and hits it. Rollins escapes Shellshocked and lands an Enziguri and then Sting appears on the Tron to distract the WWE champion. Ryback gets a roll up and the win.

After the match Sting appears on the Tron again and places a Sting mask on Rollins’ statue.
Back from the break and we see Rollins searching for Sting. New Day interrupts him and preaches their positivity. Edge and Christian interrupt them and Edge calls out Rollins who storms off. Xavier Woods has a trombone battle vs Edge and Christian with their kazoos. Christian plays the New Day chant on the kazoo and Big E. Destroys it. The Dudley Boyz show up and announce they face the tag team champions at Night of Champions.
Summer Rae is out next and we go to break. She goes on to say she has to apologize to Rusev and out he comes. Summer Rae rambles on and Rusev forgives her. Ziggler interrupts and superkicks Rusev sending him retreating up the ramp.
We see Orton in the back with Reigns and Ambrose
Sheamus vs Randy Orton
The two men start off with some very technical wrestling early on until Orton gains momentum. Sheamus rolls outside and buys some time to regroup. Sheamus grabs a mic to address the crowd but Orton attacks him and brings the action back inside. Orton lands a dropkick and Sheamus rolls out of the ring again, Orton gives chase but gets caught by the Irish Curse and we go to break.
Back from break and Sheamus works over Orton and hits a rolling senton. Orton fights back with uppercuts and clotheslines and then a snap powerslam. Sheamus misses a boot and gets caught in a t-bone suplex.
Sheamus hits a shoulder tackle from the top rope for a near fall. Orton mounts another comeback but gets hit by a huge powerslam and gets locked in the Cloverleaf. The Viper gets to the rope for the break. Orton nails a superplex for a near fall and then the hangman’s ddt. The Apex Predator signals for the RKO but gets hit by White Noise for a near fall. Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick but gets countered by an RKO attempt which he counters into a roll up. Orton kicks out and hits the RKO for the win.

After the match the Wyatts appear and destroy Orton.
Dudley Boyz vs Los Matadores
Dudley Boyz squash them hitting a 3D in Ina quick match. After the match the Matadores push Torito and the Dudleys make the save and Bubba Bomb the other Matador through a table.

Cesaro vs The Miz
Cesaro starts off hot and Miz gets worked over as the Cesaro Section goes nuts. Miz gains the upper hand gains control though and goes to work on the Swiss Superman. Big Show interferes and Miz runs away and gets counted out. Big Show then knocks out Cesaro and walks up the ramp.

Team Bella is out next to ramble on about Nikki being a week away from being the longest reigning Divas Champion ever. Team PCB interrupts and attacks Team Bella. Charlotte locks Nikki in the Figure Eight and Team PCB poses as Team Bella retreats.
New Day and Seth Rollins vs John Cena and the Primetime Players
Big E. And Cena start off. They lock up and go back and forth until Big E lands a shoulder tackle and dances. Cena goes for the shoulder tackle of his own but gets caught and slammed for a near fall. The heels use quick tags to work over Cena in the corner and we go to break. Kofi is in and works over Cena. Rollins tags in and gets a near fall and they stay in control of Cena keeping him isolated in the corner.
Cena finally tags in Titus and he is fired up. Darren Young takes out Rollins then Woods gets on the apron. Young hits an innovative Gut Check from the apron and Titus takes out Kofi before Big E. Lands a belly to belly. Cena tags in and locks in the STF on Rollins but he tags Kofi. Cena hits the AA for the win.
John Cena and the Primetime Players defeated New Day and Seth Rollins
Rollins is beat up and furious after the match as he stands alone in the ring. Sting appears yet again and taunts Rollins from the Tron again. Sting tosses Rollins’ statue into a garbage truck and it destroys the statue. Sting rides off on the back of the truck and Rollins is livid to end the show.
